I am listening to some Langhorne Slim tonight, and it reminded me how much I like him. "I Love You But Goodbye" and "Back to the Wild" are both terrific tracks from the 2009 album "Be Set Free."
There are loads of albums I have on my ipod, many artists of which I haven't explored much. And the related artist page for LS is a good one--Deer Tick, Cave Singers, Phosphorescent, William Elliott Whitmore, Low Anthem, Justin Townes Earle, Ben Kweller, Low Anthem, etc. All stuff that I very, very much like.
Another good one? Fitz and the Tantrums. Just about everything I've heard off of that, including "Pickin' Up the Pieces" and "MoneyGrabber," is fun.
