I'm tired of hearing Smashing Pumpkins, Pearl Jam, and Nirvana on DC radio. I loved those tunes back in college, but it's 2011. Here are some picks of what the radio should be playing.

Stephen Kellogg
I wasn't familiar with Stephen Kellogg and the Sixers until yesterday, when Amazon offered the new album as its pick of the day. I did have at least one Paste track I've kept on the ipod, however. It's sort of Matt Nathanson/Christian-esque rock by an artist who is only a bit younger than I am. Gravity is the lead track, and 1993 is about finding love when you were in high school. Not earth-shaking great indie rock, but good to listen to nevertheless.
