So nothing jumped out at me to stream at NPR. I did listen to Maps & Atlases' Winter, my new favorite song of the moment.
You know what else is coming out this week, besides the sublime Best Coast and Beach House? Garbage. They haven't really resonated since, oh, 1998ish. Though I was a big fan of Shirley Manson & company then--Only Happen When it Rains, Stupid Girl, When I Grow Up, I Think I'm Paranoid, Push It, and Special are all some of their classic tracks. Here's hoping the album is better than this week's free itunes single.
