NPR Mid-Year Bests

All Songs considered released their list of favorite tunes for the mid-way point of 2012.  Seriously, how is it already mid-June? I think their album list is missing a few...I would certainly add both the Lumineers and Brandi Carlile to the list. I would add Fanfarlo and Shearwater, for sure. I did like fun., Alabama Shakes, Sharon Van Etten, and Spiritualized. For best songs, I was pleased with Beach House's the Only Place, Chairlift's I Belong in Your Arms, Shearwater's You as You Were, and Tanlines' All of Me. But as always, several random selections. What else is missing?
