Three items I'll highlight,. I downloaded the new Lord Huron album. They were playing at the Black Cat the same day as Frightened Rabbit. Freelance Whales is also out with a new album, though I may wait a bit on this. Why are MP3 prices rising so much?
And I've sung the praises of Tift Merritt before, and I didn't even know she had a new album out. Her album came out a week ago, and title track "Traveling Alone" is fantastic. She's perfect for fans of the Watson Twins, Justin Townes Earle, Brandi Carlile, Deer Tick, or Goldfrapp.
