Phillip Phillips

So the new Phillip Phillips album is out, about six months after he won American Idol. While I'm not sure that I'm going to download it, I do approve of the new album. Guilty pleasure? Maybe. "Get Up Get Down" is a spirited, dancing track. There's a lot of Dave Matthews and WGWG (white guy with guitar) vibe on here, but "The World from the Side of the Moon" is a worthy first effort. "Home" was a great Mumford & Sons-esque song, but I hope this album launches a great career.
