Discovering Music

There are many ways I learn about new music, but one way is through TV.  A song will catch my ear, and I'll hunt it down online and then stream it on Spotify. If two or three songs pop out at me while I'm listening to it at work, I'll consider downloading the album.

This post on EW.com highlights a few new songs that might pop this winter. A few: So Many Wizards' Lose Your Mind, Lavender Diamond, Chromatics, Mikky Ekko, Jessie Ware, the Neighborhood, and Jake Bugg. And older favorites like Neko Case, Local Natives, Jim James, and Tame Impala are also mentioned.

It goes without saying that Grey's Anatomy has also been good for music. Check out this method. I'll write more about other ways to find new music in the future.
