The Civil Wars

The new Civil Wars album has generated a lot of attention due to the duo's strong debut, but mostly because of the tension between the pair. I'm not a huge fan, though I have enjoyed my first couple of listens of the self-titled album. Favorites include "From This Valley" and "Oh Henry." It has cross-over appeal--country, pop, folk. And the earnestness, the rawness, of both of their voices is quite endearing. Here's hoping a third album, someday, will be released by the pair.
