New Sarah Jarosz

Paste is streaming the new Sarah Jarosz album.
Jarosz is set to release her latest effort Build Me Up From Bones.

The recording process began over winter break during Jarosz’s senior year at the Boston Music Conservatory, when she flew to Gary Paczosa’s studio in Nashville for three weeks and enlisted Alex Hargreaves on violin and Nathaniel Smith on cello (both of whom have been touring with Jarosz for the several years).

“I knew I wanted to incorporate that sound of fiddle and cello for this album as opposed to starting solo and layering from there, which I had mainly done on my last two records,” said Jarosz. “I feel that this album is different from my others in the sense that it allows room for more space and makes use of the unique dynamics and textures that the trio instrumentation can create.”
