Band of the Year?

Consequence of Sound, whose taste I usually agree with, names Arcade Fire as its band of the year. Really? This past album was the group's weakest and was very divisive. I mean, Vampire Weekend or Frightened Rabbit would have been a better choice. Or about a dozen others. But hey, you got to start the conversation somewhere, right?
