RIP iPod

I use my iPod nearly every day. It's almost always on my physical being every time I leave the house or need to walk anywhere. And now, the traditional form with the turn wheel is being retired.

I was a late-ish adapter, maybe not getting one til about 2005 or 06. I think cost was a concern, of course, and maybe I was just wary about the technology. I still like owning music, though I imagine streaming services will overtake that someday. I like immersing myself in "my" music, and putting together playlists and remembering old tunes that I was once upon a time obsessed with.

I am sure I will use my phone quite a bit or an iPod Touch when trusty iPod version dies. But apart of me is sad, and I want to go buy one before the supply completely drains, just to hold on to that relic of all of your music in one portable device.
