NPR Music is streaming a Noise Pop Mix, which is music defined as having "a certain yin and yang of melody and dissonance." The Lemonheads, Green Day, Bright Eyes, Nada Surf, Cloud Nothings, Surfer Blood, The New Pornographers, and Broken Social Scene are some of the songs on the mix. I'd add Matt & Kim (or is that dance punk?) and Sleigh Bells. The music might be a little loud and jarring to listen to all day, but I will check out the stream.
