Mid-Year Best by Paste

Paste editors detailed their favorite albums thus far here.  Lots of good picks--Sarah Jaffe, Justin Townes Earle, Diamond Rugs, Alabama Shakes, Of Monsters and Men, etc. etc. But a few big omissions of these multiple lists. No Lumineers? No Shearwater? No Fanfarlo? No Brandi Carlile? Lots of stuff that's missing.  These lists really do recycle some (admittedly) great acts, but I think these are omissions.
